Outdoor services start March 27

The AAOM is restarting outdoor, socially distanced services this Saturday, March 27 at 8:45 AM. Remember to wear a mask and bring your own siddur and chumash.  Members who registered for these services have received an email with location details.

Services will also be held on the first two mornings of Pesach, March 28–29 at 9:30 AM.

If you are interested in attending services on the last two days of Pesach and you have not signed up already, please contact Logan at president@annarborminyan.org,

The Ann Arbor Orthodox Minyan is an intimate and vibrant orthodox congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our membership is multigenerational, including families with babies and school-aged children, young couples just starting out, empty-nesters, and retirees. We also share our services with the University of Michigan Hillel’s orthodox student minyan. The diversity of our community is reflected in our programming, which provides frequent opportunities for our members to learn Torah, celebrate, socialize, and connect with Judaism in ways they find meaningful.

It is our pleasure to welcome visitors and guests and, of course, new members. Please contact us at welcome@annarborminyan.org for more information about our minyan, services, or programming. And when you are ready to join our community, please tell us more about yourself in our Membership Application.

From the President:

Dear AAOM,

Over the past several months we have entered into a new reality. We have been actively working on finding meaningful ways to connect given the current state of the world, and are extremely proud of the ways that our community has remained strong in this time by coming together to study, reflect and most recently pray together. We have shown that the AAOM is steadfast in its support of one another and we are extremely grateful and appreciative for the willingness of so many who have stepped up to volunteer both financially and otherwise to help sustain our community during this difficult time.

We thank you for your commitment to our minyan and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. We look forward to connecting with everyone soon.

Sincerely,

Logan Wall, on behalf of the AAOM board
