Important: Location change

Beginning May 11, 2024, the AAOM will be meeting for Shabbat services at 2010 Washtenaw Ave., rather than at Hillel.  We will be resume holding services at Hillel as usual at the end of August.

Welcome to the AAOM

The Ann Arbor Orthodox Minyan is an intimate and vibrant orthodox congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our membership is multigenerational, including families with babies and school-aged children, young couples just starting out, empty-nesters, and retirees. We also share our services with the University of Michigan Hillel’s orthodox student minyan. The diversity of our community is reflected in our programming, which provides frequent opportunities for our members to learn Torah, celebrate, socialize, and connect with Judaism in ways they find meaningful.

It is our pleasure to welcome visitors and guests and, of course, new members. Please contact us at for more information about our minyan, services, or programming. And when you are ready to join our community, please tell us more about yourself in our Membership Application.

Weekday and Shabbat Services

The AAOM and Hillel orthodox minyan hold regular weekday and Shabbat minyanim at the Hillel building (1429 Hill Street). Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30 am. UM Hillel requires attendees be vaccinated and recommends that masks be worn when Washtenaw County Covid transmission levels are high. Full details are available on our weekly announcements page.  For more information, please contact
